2024 was confirmed as the warmest year on record, with a global average temperature of 15.10\u00b0C, 1.6\u00b0C above pre-industrial levels, making it the first calendar year to exceed the 1.5\u00b0C threshold set out in the Paris Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
